A retractable awning is a fabric awning on folding arms that extends for shade and retracts away in storms. In Malaysia it is custom-made and usually motorised (Somfy), with the exact price depending on size, fabric and options.
A Sol Devona folding-arm awning extends to cool your terrace, café or balcony, then folds neatly away when you want the open sky. Choose the open-frame Linea 2020 or the fully-cassetted Epica (hidden when closed). Motorise it with Somfy and add a wind sensor so it retracts automatically — effortless shade, sized exactly to your space. Both are folding-arm awnings — the difference is how they tuck away when closed.
A compact, open folding-arm awning on a slim square bar — the arms and front bar stay visible when closed. Lighter and great value, it can reach wide openings by adding profiles. Optional hood for extra protection.
A full-cassette awning: when closed the fabric and arms fold completely inside the cassette — hidden, weather-protected and clean-lined. Hidden fixings, up to 4.1m projection with the Giant arm, optional light kit.
